Vision

We will establish a healthy and self reliant society where community members and children enjoy equal opportunities, rights, liberty, justice, participation, informed decision-making and the ability to resolve their issues. People long for a society where they can live with dignity, without any discrimination and exploitation on the basis of class, caste, creed, sex, race and religion, and they can exercise their rights for their all round development.

Mission

To empower the people, especially the children, tribal, marginalized, and weaker sections of the community and build up their livelihood potential and capabilities through training, exposure, model demonstration, information dissemination & networking services to make them self-reliant through interactive participatory decision-making processes.

Strategic Objectives

  • To ensure tribal children (especially girls) enroll and complete their school education by 2015
  • To promote preventative and curative health by 2015
  • To increase the income level of the community by 50% and bring it above the poverty line by 2015
  • To increase the participation of the community in self-government institutions (panchayats) and make these institutions self-reliant in true spirit by 2015
  • To develop the marginalized peoples' skills in advocacy and lobbying
